“Art Is The Handmaid Of Human Good” is on the City Seal of Lowell, MA; the home of Jack Kerouac, Bette Davis, and James O’Neil Whistler. We have received generous funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, as well as monetary support from local businesses.

Located just 45 minutes from Boston on the banks of the Merrimack River, Lowell is a mill city, Home of the Industrial Revolution, and boasts one of the most diverse populations in all of Massachusetts. So it is with great pride that we set out on this, our first Film Festival, one that will highlight the achievements of Latino filmmakers, an underrepresented pool of talent that deserves to be seen and heard.

All submitted projects will be judged by a random team of invited experts that cover a myriad of Arts related fields.

All genres of film will be considered, from fiction to documentaries, to animation.

Prize monies will be awarded for various categories:  from Best Film, Director, Editing, Actors, & more.
